January often brings a “New Year, new me” attitude, but here at Delayed, when it comes to music that we enjoyed in 2025, we prefer “more of the same, please.” From lush ambient and introspective atmospheres to dancefloor-ready polyrhythms and driving techno, 2026 has started on a good note!

January listening stayed practical. Long durations. Few distractions. Mixes you can live inside without constantly checking what’s playing. Some are live recordings. Some come from the studio. All of them held our attention and helped us get through subzero temperatures.
SUNDAYS ARE FOR…
While snow falls on a frigid Brooklyn, I sit at home. Having a tea, and enjoying the dub infused selections as they coalesce. Somehow they work together, the austere winter outside playing off the warm, rhythmic sounds from within.
